convergence farm

convergence /kənˈvərjəns/ (noun) :

when two or more things come together to form a new whole, the act of coming together, the act of turning towards each other

Our farm is located at the convergence of two beautiful creeks and we’re passionate about bringing things together. Connecting with our community by sharing our sustainably grown produce, farm fresh eggs, and pasture raised poultry with our supporters.

who we are

Like many in our community, we’re passionate about food and where it comes from. We’ve been growing our own for years and in October 2014, we found a beautiful piece of property at the convergence of two beautiful creeks to call our own. Since then our gardens have grown, we added bees to the team, started raising and processing chickens for meat, and added a couple little farmhands to our ranks.

what we grow

We grow microgreens, summer squash, winter squash, pumpkins, corn, a variety of different chiles, tomatoes, radishes, carrots, beets, cabbages, kale, lettuces, broccoli, beans, soybeans, potatoes, cucumbers, herbs, onions, watermelons, and much more. Our goal is to grow produce that is familiar, fun and easy to cook, and delicious!

Additionally, we raise small batches of pasture raised chickens, ducks and turkeys for meat, happy hens & ducks for eggs, and have a team of bees to support our operations.

why we do this

We both have full time jobs (that we love!), but we love to stay busy and this farm is more than just a weekend hobby for us. It’s one of our passions. All the proceeds that we make from sales go back into the farm, helping us to expand operations and start new projects. With the money we raised selling eggs and produce in 2018, we were able to start beekeeping! With our egg proceeds from 2019, we purchased a drip irrigation system. No more watering over 4000 square feet of garden with 5 gallon buckets of water!

what we’re up to

Certain years, we offer a participate and pay as you go CSA opportunity.  Throughout the growing season, we send a weekly email when CSA shares are available and what they feature for that week.  Supporters can sign up by responding to that email or through Facebook message to pick up a CSA share from the farm that week or request delivery.

Each CSA share bag contains a variety of produce, farm fresh eggs, and may feature other products from the farm such as pasture raised chicken, honey, pickles, or a bottle of our famous hot sauce.  We also include fun, simple delicious recipes and suggestions each week for how to enjoy your goodies.

We only have a limited number of CSA shares available at a time, so it’s important to reach out quickly to secure yours each week!

2025 Update: We’re excited to launch our Pay-As-You-Go Weekly CSA Shares the week of June 16, 2025. Our goal will be to offer a share just about every week through the end of the growing season. Check out our social media or message us for more information! We’re also excited to plan to offer a Pumpkin Pop Up Shop in the Fall as well as pasture raised chicken & duck available starting in October.
